Vice President
Marjorie Sell grew up as a contractor’s daughter, first working on, and then supervising, construction job sites for her father’s company while in high school and college.
Later, having barely started her property adjusting career, Marjorie was working wind/hail claims in Kansas City in August of 2005, when she was requested to go to New Orleans to work Hurricane Katrina claims. She accepted and had the distinction of being one of the few adjusters able to gain access into New Orleans less than a week after the hurricane hit, when entry was still limited to residents only. She has become known for this unconventional type of “outside the box” thinking and it has obviously served her well as exemplified by her very satisfied Insured’s, giving her one of the highest customer service/quality rankings with the insurance company.
After Hurricane Katrina, she continued working claims and went on to work Hurricanes Rita, Wilma (2005) and Hurricane Ike (2008) where she was ranked the #2 adjuster for the insurance company.
Marjorie has handled commercial losses, wind/hail, tornadoes, water losses, etc. and is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators and retains her HAAG Residential certification. Marjorie’s knowledge and experience gained in the field, her exceptional quality of product (both estimation and customer service skills), combined with her attention to detail is why she is so appreciated by our adjusters and insurance claims managers alike. It is also why she wears so many hats with Hennesy, Inc. Known affectionately as “The Vice President in Charge of Everything” she manages our main office (among her many other duties).
